Having said that, it still is a way to earn a few bucks, and these days, it’s hard to find anyone who wouldn’t need an extra few dollars.

PTC sites seem to be getting more popular every year. And why wouldn’t they – who doesn’t like to get paid to click on ads, especially these days!…It just can’t get any easier than this, you get paid for clicking on ads, links and visiting different websites.
This is where I am supposed to tell you that you can make lots of money with this method and that you can easily quit your day job. But that is not the case! Sorry to disappoint you, but the fact is that you can not make any decent amount of money with paid to click ads sites.
There are a few reasons for that. For starters, you earn on average of $0.01 for each ad you click on. There aren’t any ptc sites that pay 1$ per click. If you see any site promising that, it’s a scam. It simply isn’t possible for any legit pay to click site to be able to afford that as their advertisers aren’t paying them 1 dollar per click.
Second, there aren’t any ptc sites with unlimited ads. Most of them just have a few ads a day you can click on. So, considering these two facts, it will be impossible for you to make a living by clicking on ads.
Having said that, depending on how many legit paid to click sites you register with and how much time and effort you put into clicking on available ads each day, you could earn a few extra dollars. And these days, with the way our economy is going, and with millions of people out of work, I bet you many people would appreciate even a few extra dollars.
Referring Friends To PTC Sites
If you really want to increase your earnings, you should refer as many people as you can to any PTC site you are a member of. Almost all of them run referral programs where they give commission to you for every person you refer to the site.
Referring people to PTC sites is the only way you can make more than just a few dollars. It’s because not only you get an initial bonus for referring a new member, but you also get a percentage of what they earn for life. So, the more people you refer the more money you can make.
And what’s even better is that most referral programs go a few levels deep. Meaning, not only you earn from your referral’s earnings, but you also earn from their referral’s earnings as well. So lets say you refer James, you get 10% of his earnings, then James refers Jessica, you earn 5% of Jessica’s earnings, then Jessica refers Amanda, you earn 3% of her earnings and so on. Most PTC sites have referral programs that go a few level deep.
As you can see, the numbers can add up quickly when you refer people. If you want to make clicking on ads worth your while, I highly recommend you put more emphasis on referring other people than actually clicking on ads.
PTC Scam
Unfortunately, just like most other online money making methods, there are also scam PTC sites out there as well. These scammers create legit looking PTC sites, set up everything the same way as any other real and trusted PTC website would do. You sign up, start clicking on ads and see your earnings grow. But the similarities end right there! That’s because when you reach the minimum requirement for cash out and request a cash out, you will never hear back from the site. They either delete your account, ignore your emails or simply disappear.
Also. please if you see any site that promises you outrages payouts for each click, (I have seen sites saying they pay members $10, $10, and even $200 per click. I am not making this up. Please stay as far away as you can from any site that promises outrages payouts. Remember the old saying: If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is!
Not surprisingly, finding highly trusted PTC sites is somewhat of a challenge, but not impossible. You just have to be vigilant and keep an open eye out for scams. The good news is that because of the increasing popularity of PTC sites, there are many online forums that are dedicated to paid to click method. These forums are often the best place to find legit and paying PTC sites, as well as PTC scams.
